Cement Ranks First on the Second Day of the Week

On Sunday, April 7, 2024, the IME's cement trading floor witnessed trade of 1,073,981 tonnes of cement.

According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, there were 55,000 tonnes of iron ore pellets, 16,000 tonnes of aluminum oxide, 5,100 tonnes of aluminum ingots, 1,200 tonnes of low-grade copper, 400 tonnes of aluminum hydroxide and 250 tonnes of rebars traded on its metals and minerals trading floor.

Based on this report, IME's open auction trading floor saw trade of 142,000 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 25,000 tonnes of iron ore concentrate, 4,000 tonnes of copper cathode, 3,000 tonnes of sodium sulfate and 200 tonnes of molybdenum sulfur.

Moreover, the IME sold 6,344 tonnes of polymeric products, 4,000 tonnes of lube cut, 1,703 tonnes of chemicals, 1,448 tonnes of slack wax, 495 tonnes of bitumen, 480 tonnes of argon, 125 tonnes of granular sulfur and 69 tonnes of base oil on its oil and petrochemical trading floor.

It's worth noting that the export ring played host to trade of 40,000 tonnes of steel blooms and 22,977 tonnes of bitumen.

Last but not least was the IME's side market with 20,000 tonnes of barite lumps traded on it.
