According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, there were 20,670 tonnes of steel blooms, 11,460 tonnes of I-beams, 962 tonnes of angle bars, 200 tonnes of U-channels and 200 tonnes of color rolled steel sheets traded on the same floor.
Based on this report, the exchange saw trade of 40,000 tonnes of lube cut (heavy & light grades), 24,273 tonnes of chemicals, 7,720 tonnes of bitumen, 1,650 tonnes of polymeric products, 500 tonnes of sulfur lumps and 300 tonnes of granular sulfur on its oil and petrochemical trading floor.
Moreover, the IME sold 43,975 tonnes of cement in matching trading system.
IME's open auction trading floor was the next which saw trade of 18,000 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 4,944 tonnes of styrene monomer, 1,453 tonnes of 2-ethylhexanol, 900 tonnes of o-xylene, 470 tonnes of vinyl acetate monomer (VAM) and 320 tonnes of toluene diisocyanate (TDI).
It's worth noting that the IME's export ring played host to trade of 125,000 tonnes of steel slabs, 40,000 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 27,146 tonnes of bitumen, 8,000 tonnes of granular sulfur and 5,000 tonnes of aluminum ingots.
Last but not least was the IME's side market with 1,665 tonnes of coil rebars, 1,300 tonnes of rebars (made of alloy steel), 891 tonnes of tissues, 400 tonnes of alloy steel ingots and 24 tonnes of steel belts traded on it.
