According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the exchange saw on its metals and minerals trading floor, trade of 2,232,742 tonnes of commodities valued at more than 399 million USD.

On this floor the IME sold 1,237,137 tonnes of cement, 397,000 tonnes of iron ore, 366,915 tonnes of steel, 180,800 tonnes of sponge iron, 7,595 tonnes of aluminum, 6,840 tonnes of copper, 255 tonnes of zinc and 200 tonnes of molybdenum concentrate.

Also, the IME sold 500 kg of saffron on its agricultural trading floor.

Based on this report, the exchange saw trade of 332,572 tonnes of commodities worth more than 181 million USD on both domestic and export rings of its oil and petrochemical trading floor.

Items traded on this floor included 110,533 tonnes of bitumen, 92,579 tonnes of polymeric products, 62,130 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 36,410 tonnes of chemicals, 24,000 tonnes of lube cut, 4,205 tonnes of oil, 2,095 tonnes of sulfur and 620 tonnes of feedstocks.

Last was the IME's side market on which the exchange traded 6,321 tonnes of goods.
