According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the exchange saw on its metals and minerals trading floor, trade of 9,967,083 tonnes of commodities valued at more than 2 billion USD.

On this floor the IME sold 4,874,540 tonnes of cement, 2,300,500 tonnes of iron ore, 1,651, 254 tonnes of steel, 1,130,100 tonnes of sponge iron, 66,400 tonnes of zinc, 39,395 tonnes of aluminum, 16,645 tonnes of copper, 400 tonnes of molybdenum concentrate, 200 tonnes of cast iron and 45 tonnes of precious metals concentrate.

There were also 1 tonnes of saffron sold on its agricultural trading floor.

Furthermore, the exchange saw trade of 2,111,435 tonnes of commodities worth more than 978 million USD on both domestic and export rings of its oil and petrochemical trading floor.

Items traded on this floor included 669,935 tonnes of bitumen, 666,100 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 380,504 tonnes of polymeric products, 197,000 tonnes of lube cut, 136,246 tonnes of chemicals, 41,935 tonnes of sulfur, 19,294 tonnes of oil, 1,560 tonnes of feedstocks and 835 tonnes of waterproofing materials.

Last was the IME's side market on which the exchange traded 73,817 tonnes of goods.
