On Sunday, June 9, 2024, the IME's cement trading floor witnessed trade of 1,097,779 tonnes of cement.

According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, there were 6,300 tonnes of sponge iron, 6,000 tonnes of aluminum oxide, 5,750 tonnes of aluminum ingots, 1,725 tonnes of HRC, 1,700 tonnes of low-grade copper, 1,005 tonnes of zinc ingots, 450 tonnes of aluminum hydroxide and 110 tonnes of rebars traded on its metals and minerals trading floor.

Next was the IME's oil and petrochemical trading floor with trade of 5,653 tonnes of polymeric products, 2,000 tonnes of lube cut, 1,427 tonnes of chemicals, 750 tonnes of bitumen, 574 tonnes of slack wax, 440 tonnes of argon, 425 tonnes of sulfur and 372 tonnes of paraffin wax.

There were also 10,000 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 3,000 tonnes of copper cathode, 3,000 tonnes of sodium sulfate, 200 tonnes of molybdenum sulfur and 15 tonnes of precious metals concentrate sold on its open auction trading floor.

It's worth noting as well that the IME's export ring saw trade of 32,640 tonnes of bitumen.

Last but not least was the IME's side market with 650 tonnes of bituminous anodes (used in aluminum reduction industry) and 150 tonnes of polyethylene wax traded on it.
