According to a report by the IME's international affairs and PR, the exchange traded on the same floor 8,000 tonnes of direct reduced iron (sponge iron), 34,000 tonnes of steel sheet, 156,500 tonnes of cement, 1,625 tonnes of aluminum ingots, 320 tonnes of copper cathode, 500 tonnes of low-grade copper, 310 tonnes of zinc ingots, 175 tonnes of aluminum hydroxide and 300 tonnes of molybdenum sulfur.
It's worth noting that there were 3,166 tonnes of polymeric products, 16,975 tonnes of chemicals, 286 tonnes of slack wax, 2,916 tonnes of bitumen, 20 tonnes of sulfur, 299 tonnes of paraffin wax and 15 tonnes of base oil traded on the IME's oil and petrochemical trading floor.
Furthermore, the exchange experienced trades of 23,000 tonnes of bitumen and 20,000 tonnes of sulfur on its export pit.
Last but not least, the IME saw trade of 1,500 tonnes of aluminum oxide, 50 tonnes of glass wool, 765 tonnes of car tires and 20 tonnes of MCA (monochloroacetic acid) on its side market.
