According to a report by the IME's international affairs and PR, the exchange traded on the metals and minerals trading floor 87,160 tonnes of steel blooms, 51,200 tonnes of steel slabs, 2,250 tonnes of steel sheets, 12,000 tonnes of direct reduced iron (sponge iron), 8,850 tonnes of cement and 90 tonnes of aluminum.

It's worth noting that there were 41,662 tonnes of polymeric products, 120 tonnes of chemicals, 760 tonnes of sulfur, 58,000 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 34,000 tonnes of lube cut and 2,048 tonnes of base oil traded on the IME's oil and petrochemical trading floor.

Furthermore, the exchange experienced trades of 19,225 tonnes of bitumen and 312 tonnes of slack wax on its export pit.

Last but not least, the IME saw trade of 879 tonnes of aluminum filings, car tires, carbon black, steel blooms and steel scraps on its side market.
