According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the exchange sold on the same floor 2,500 tonnes of sponge iron, 750 tonnes of aluminum and 165 tonnes of zinc ingots.

Next was the IME oil and petrochemical trading floor with 52,820 tonnes of polymeric products, 1,140 tonnes of chemicals, 200 tonnes of sulfur, 23 tonnes of paraffin wax and 1,014 tonnes of PDA TAR.

Also, 51,005 tonnes of cement was sold in matching contracts.

It's worth noting as well that the IME's export ring played host to trades of 12,720 tonnes of bitumen, 10,000 tonnes of sulfur, 216 tonnes of acetic acid and 110 tonnes of insulation.

Based on this report, the exchange traded 3,340 tonnes of steel slabs, 462 tonnes of PVC and 200 tonnes of molybdenum sulfur on its open auction trading floor.

Last was the IME's side market which saw trade of 2,400 tonnes of steel blooms, metal scraps, normal paraffin, dioctyl phthalate (DOP) and anhydride phthalic.
