According to a report by the IME's international affairs and PR, the exchange sold on the same floor 30,000 tonnes of zinc dust, 7,500 tonnes of steel sheets and 75 tonnes of steel angles.

It's worth noting that there were also 34,950 tonnes of cement sold on the exchange within matching contracts.

Based on this report, the IME also sold 25,000 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 16,510 tonnes of chemicals, 2,229 tonnes polymeric products and 625 tonnes of bitumen on its oil and petrochemical trading floor.

Furthermore, the IME was also a platform for the Khouzestan Steel Company to trade 10,000 tonnes of steel blooms in a premium contract.

Last but not least was the IME's side market on which customers purchased 88 tonnes of ethylbenzene, butadiene, dioctyl phthalate (DOP) and normal paraffin.
