IME Witnessed 58% Growth in its Trading Volume

During weekdays ending up to September 30, 2020, while over 979,561 MT of commodities worth over 398 million USD were traded on the Iran Mercantile Exchange, the trading volume and value experienced growth of %58 and %28, respectively.

According to the report from IME International Affairs and PR, last week, on the domestic and export metal and mineral trading floor of IME, 415,022 MT of various products worth close to 239 million USD were traded.

On this trading floor, 402,860 MT of steel, 6,910 MT of aluminum, 4,680 MT of copper, 120 MT of molybdenum concentrates, 12 MT of precious metal concentrates, 440 MT of zinc ingot as well as 5 kg of gold bar were traded by customers.

The report declares that on domestic and export oil and petrochemical trading floors of IME, 559,288 MT of different commodities with the total value of 158 million USD were traded.

On this trading floor, 227,600 MT of VB feed stock, 176,600 MT of bitumen, 72,625 MT of polymer products, 42,936 MT of chemical products, 31,500 MT of lube cut oil, 2,240 MT of insulation, 2,337 MT of base oil, 300 MT of slaps waxes, 150 MT of argon as well as 3,000 MT of sulfur were traded.

Moreover, the agricultural trading floor of the IME played host to trading of 90 kg of saffron threads.

Furthermore, 5,251 MT of commodities were traded on the side market of the IME.
