Furthermore, the exchange saw on its oil and petrochemical trading floor trade of 51,436 tonnes of polymeric products, 5,000 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 325 tonnes of bitumen, 1,170 tonnes of PDA TAR and 1,000 tonnes of lube cut.

On its metal and mineral trading floor the IME witnessed trade of 104,710 tonnes of steel blooms, 37,000 tonnes of sponge iron, 23,000 tonnes of steel slabs, 4,900 tonne of steel sheets and 20 tonnes of zinc.

It's worth noting that on the same day the IME's customers purchased on is side market 9,606 tonnes of steel blooms, metal scraps, carton scraps, steel scraps, glass wool, empty drums and aluminum filings.
