Trade of Rebars on IME

On Wednesday, May 31, 2023, the IME witnessed trade of 47,027 tonnes of rebars on its metals and minerals trading floor.

According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, there were 11,439 tonnes of I-beams, 1,046 tonnes of angle bars, 1,975 tonnes of U-channels, 1,500 tonnes of CRS, 500 tonnes of galvanized steel sheets, 58,000 tonnes of zinc dust, 25 tonnes of aluminum hydroxide and 150 Capra pickup cars traded on the same floor.

Based on this report, IME's oil and petrochemical trading floor saw trade of 2,500 tonnes of bitumen, 9,260 tonnes of chemicals and 14,203 tonnes of polymeric products.

Also, the IME sold 2,320 tonnes of cement in matching trading system.

IME's open auction trading floor was the next which saw trade of 4,440 tonnes of styrene monomer, 1,430 tonnes of 2-ethylhexanol, 550 tonnes of vinyl acetate monomer (VAM) and 340 tonnes of toluene diisocyanate (TDI).

It's worth noting as well that the IME's export ring saw trade of 43,570 tonnes of bitumen and 3,000 tonnes of copper cathode.

Last but not least was the IME's side market with 6 tonnes of brass sheets, 4 tonnes of tissues and 50 tonnes of steel tripetalous traded on it.
