According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the IME sold on the same floor 238,000 tonnes of iron ore pellets, 152,000 tonnes of sponge iron, 5,550 tonnes of steel sheets, 1,000 tonnes of steel blooms and 75 tonnes of U-channels.

Based on this report, the exchange saw trade 55,000 tonnes of iron ore concentrate on its open auction trading floor.

Furthermore, the exchange traded 650,891 tonnes of cement on its cement trading floor.

It's worth noting that the IME's export ring played host to trade of 20,400 tonnes of bitumen, 200 tonnes of insulation and 500 tonnes of alkylbenzene.

IME oil and petrochemical trading floor was the next which saw trade of 4,215 tonnes of polymeric products, 15,800 tonnes of chemicals and PDA TAR.

Last was the IME's side market which saw trade of 5,122 tonnes of coil rebars, polyethylene wax and aniline.
