On Sunday, May 14, 2023, the IME's cement trading floor trade of 1,118,039 tonnes of cement.
Cement Ranks First on the Second Day of the Week

According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, there were 34,000 tonnes of hot briquetted sponge iron (HBSI), 6,250 tonnes of aluminum ingots, 2,000 tonnes of sponge iron, 500 tonnes of low-grade copper and 1,710 tonnes of zinc ingots traded on its metals and minerals trading floor.

Based on this report, IME's oil and petrochemical trading floor saw trade of 6,044 tonnes of chemicals, 5,252 tonnes of polymeric products, 1,040 tonnes of slack wax (heavy & light grades) and 120 tonnes of argon.

It's worth noting that the IME's export ring played host to trade of 2,975 tonnes of bitumen.

In addition to that, the IME sold 200 tonnes of molybdenum sulfur and 108 tonnes of methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI) on its open auction trading floor.

Last was the IME's side market trading floor which saw trade of 900 empty drums, 50,000 tonnes of pellet fine & DRI sludge wastes, 1,500 tonnes of alloy steel ingots, 110 tonnes of coil rebars and 42 tonnes of metal wastes.
