IME Customers Purchased Polymeric Products

On Wednesday, June 19, 2024, the IME witnessed trade of 39,108 tonnes of polymeric products, 22,251 tonnes of chemicals, 50 tonnes of granular sulfur and 25 tonnes of base oil on its oil and petrochemical trading floor.

According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the IME sold on its metals and minerals trading floor 29,984 tonnes of rebars, 10,557 tonnes of I-beams, 5,300 tonnes of steel coils and 3,000 tonnes of sponge iron.

Also, the IME sold 6,420 tonnes of cement in matching trading system.

Next was the IME's open auction trading floor with trade of 131,500 tonnes of zinc dust, 10,000 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 800 tonnes of o-xylene, 768 tonnes of styrene monomer, 598 tonnes of 2-ethylhexanol, 407 tonnes of vinyl acetate monomer (VAM) and 240 tonnes of toluene diisocyanate (TDI).

It's worth noting that the export ring played host to trade of 16,280 tonnes of bitumen.

Last was the IME's side market which saw trade of 1,195,612 recyclable car accessories, 20,260 auto assembly line scraps, 2,000 tonnes of mill scale scraps, 1,500 tonnes of steel scraps, 162 tonnes of aluminum scraps, 60 tonnes of cast iron scraps and 6 tonnes of chemical wastes.
