Trade of Rebars on IME

On Wednesday, May 10, 2023, the IME witnessed trade of 48,479 tonnes of rebars, 100 tonnes of HRS, 1,024 tonnes of angle bars, 8,717 tonnes of I-beams, 1,850 tonnes of U-channels, 2,000 tonnes of galvanized steel sheets and 2,025 tonnes of copper wire on its metals and minerals trading floor.

According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, there were 7,811 tonnes of chemicals, 1,206 tonnes of polymeric products and 100 tonnes of granular sulfur traded on its oil and petrochemical trading floor.

IME's open auction trading floor was the next which saw trade of 4,440 tonnes of styrene monomer, 1,430 tonnes of 2-ethylhexanol, 550 tonnes of vinyl acetate monomer (VAM), 300 tonnes of toluene diisocyanate (TDI) and 144 tonnes of methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI).

It's worth noting as well that the IME's export ring saw trade of 10,000 tonnes of iron ore pellets, 14,400 tonnes of bitumen, 40,000 tonnes of steel blooms and 700 tonnes of insulation.

Also, the IME sold 4,401 tonnes of cement in matching trading system.

Last was the IME's side market which saw trade of 300 tonnes of phosphate concentrate, 303 tonnes of printing & writing papers and 50 tonnes of steel tripetalous.
