IME Witnessed Growth in its Trading Volume and Value

During weekdays ending up to August 27, 2020, while over 886,179 MT of commodities worth over 1,642 million USD were traded on the Iran Mercantile Exchange, the trading volume and value experienced growth of %25 and %32, respectively.

According to the report from IME International Affairs and PR, last week, on the domestic and export metal and mineral trading floor of IME, 337,884 MT of various products worth close to 845 million USD were traded.

On this trading floor, 326,297 MT of steel, 7,840 MT of aluminum, 3,140 MT of copper, 120 MT of molybdenum concentrates, 12 MT of precious metal concentrates, 475 MT of zinc ingot as well as 20 kg of gold bullion were traded by customers.

The report declares that on domestic and export oil and petrochemical trading floors of IME, 525,188 MT of different commodities with the total value of 800 million USD were traded.

On this trading floor, 204,500 MT of VB feed stock, 149,874 MT of bitumen, 83,810 MT of polymer products, 35,060 MT of chemical products, 48,500 MT of lube cut oil, 1,260 MT of insulation, 1,414 MT of base oil, 150 MT of argon, as well as 700 MT of sulfur were traded.

Moreover, the agricultural trading floor of the IME played host to trading of 250 kg of saffron strands.

Furthermore, 3,107 MT of commodities and a commercial real estate were traded on the side market of the IME.
