On Sunday, July 7, 2024, the IME's cement trading floor witnessed trade of 862,082 tonnes of cement.

According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the IME sold on its metals and minerals trading floor 31,500 tonnes of hot briquetted sponge iron (HBSI), 4,950 tonnes of aluminum ingots, 1,046 tonnes of rebars, 925 tonnes of aluminum oxide, 475 tonnes of zinc ingots, 150 tonnes of aluminum hydroxide and 50 tonnes of galvanized steel sheets.

Furthermore, the IME sold 7,560 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 3,000 tonnes of copper cathode, 3,000 tonnes of sodium sulfate and 200 tonnes of molybdenum sulfur on its open auction trading floor.

IME's oil and petrochemical trading floor was the next which saw trade of 19,000 tonnes of lube cut, 14,750 tonnes of bitumen, 6,239 tonnes of polymeric products, 2,885 tonnes of chemicals, 1,080 tonnes of sulfur, 556 tonnes of slack wax, 445 tonnes of argon and 138 tonnes of paraffin wax.

It's worth noting as well that the IME's export ring saw trade of 29,310 tonnes of bitumen.

Last but not least was the IME's side market with 650 tonnes of bituminous anodes (used in aluminum reduction industry) and 570 tonnes of tissues traded on it.
