On Saturday, January 8, 2022, the IME's cement trading floor witnessed trade of 745,461 tonnes of cement.

According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the IME also sold on its metals and minerals trading floor 12,000 tonnes of galvanized steel sheets, 220 tonnes of rebars and 100 tonnes of U-channels.

Moreover, the exchange saw trade of 7,675 tonnes of bitumen on its export ring.

On its oil and petrochemical trading floor the exchange saw trades of 18,770 tonnes of chemicals, 3,545 tonnes of polymeric products, 50 tonnes of argon and 1,040 tonnes of PDA TAR.

Furthermore, the IME saw tender trades of 1,200 numbers of electric meters worth more than 154 thousand USD.

Last but not least was the IME's side market on which customers purchased 4,883 tonnes of carbon black, glass wool and coil rebars.
