Cement Ranks First on the Second Day of the Week

On Sunday, May 28, 2023, the IME's cement trading floor witnessed trade of 1,160,761 tonnes of cement.

According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, there were 7,025 tonnes of aluminum ingots, 4,000 tonnes of hot briquetted sponge iron (HBSI), 4,000 tonnes of copper cathode, 2,200 tonnes of low-grade copper, 1,120 tonnes of zinc ingots and 425 tonnes of aluminum hydroxide traded on its metals and minerals trading floor.

Based on this report, IME's oil and petrochemical trading floor saw trade of 4,748 tonnes of polymeric products, 4,364 tonnes of chemicals, 1,083 tonnes of slack wax, 790 tonnes of bitumen, 260 tonnes of argon and 200 tonnes of paraffin wax (heavy grade).

In addition to that, the IME sold 200 tonnes of molybdenum sulfur on its open auction trading floor.

It's worth noting that the IME's export ring played host to trade of 29,117 tonnes of bitumen and 100 tonnes of insulation.

Last was the IME's side market trading floor which saw trade of 2,000 tonnes of aluminum oxide, 100 tonnes of phosphoric acid, 60 tonnes of monochloroacetic acid (MCA) and 20 tonnes of calcium hypochlorite.
