According to a report by the IME's international affairs and PR, the exchange sold on the same floor 61,193 tonnes of rebar, 9,602 tonnes of I-beam, 5,000 tonnes of CRS, 1,172 tonnes of angle, 1,000 tonnes of aluminum hydroxide and 1,000 tonnes of zinc dust.
On its open auction trading floor, the IME witnessed trade of 21,000 tonnes of precious metals concentrate and 126 tonnes of methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI).
It's worth noting that the IME's export pit also played host to trading of 19,500 tonnes of bitumen and 3,000 tonnes of copper cathodes.
Next trading floor was the oil and petrochemical with 35,000 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 12,900 tonnes of chemicals, 12,000 tonnes of lube cut, 4,670 tonnes of polymeric products, 1,500 tonnes of slops wax, 50 tonnes of bitumen, 26 tonnes of slack wax, 23 tonnes of base oil and 1,430 tonnes of PDA TAR traded on it.
Furthermore, the exchange sold 30,000 tonnes of steel blooms offered by the ARFA Iron and Steel Company in 6 five thousand-tonne premium contracts.
Last but not least was the IME's side market on which customers purchased 427 tonnes of butadiene, monochloroacetic acid (MCA) and dioctyl phthalate.
