On Sunday, May 15, 2022, the IME's cement trading floor witnessed trade of 836,503 tonnes of cement.
Cement Ranks First on the Second Day of the Week

According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, there were 20,000 tonnes of iron ore lumps and 10,550 tonnes of vacuum bottom traded on its open auction trading floor.

Based on this report, the IME also sold 7,275 tonnes of aluminum ingots, 5,060 tonnes of copper cathodes, 3,000 tonnes of sponge iron, 1,110 tonnes of zinc ingots, 500 tonnes of aluminum billets, 200 tonnes of low-grade copper and 140 tonnes of lead ingots on its metals and minerals trading floor.

IME's oil and petrochemical trading floor saw trade of 13,000 tonnes of lube cut, 5,241 tonnes of polymeric products, 3,838 tonnes of chemicals, 2,500 tonnes of bitumen, 815 tonnes of paraffin wax, 345 tonnes of base oil, 216 tonnes of slack wax and 80 tonnes of sulfur.

It's worth noting that the IME also traded 12,390 tonnes of bitumen on its export pit.

Last but not least was the IME's side market with 797 tonnes of bituminous anodes (used in aluminum reduction industry), metal scraps, polymeric wastes, calcium hypochlorite, monochloroacetic acid (MCA), sodium hypochlorite and 1,700 tonnes of empty drums traded on it.
