According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the IME also sold on its metals and minerals trading floor 113,410 tonnes of steel sheets, 76,520 tonnes of steel blooms, 6,000 tonnes of sponge iron and 800 tonnes of steel slabs.

Based on this report, the exchange saw trade of 10,000 tonnes of steel slabs type C and 190 tonnes of molybdenum sulfur on its open auction trading floor.

Furthermore, IME sold 5,710 tonnes of cement in matching trading system.

Next was the IME's oil and petrochemical trading floor with trades of 20,416 tonnes of polymeric products, 500 tonnes of chemicals, 220 tonnes of sulfur, 22 tonnes of bitumen and 25 tonnes of base oil.

It's worth noting that the IME's export ring played host to trade of 500 tonnes of aluminum ingots and 470 tonnes of bitumen.

Last was the IME's side market which saw trade of 1,297 tonnes of metal scraps, normal paraffin, bituminous anodes (used in aluminum reduction industry), dioctyl phthalate, butadiene and steel slabs for export.
